Resin Wine Glasses
Welcome to your resin wine glass instructions!
As this is a rather involved craft with a lot of room for error, we ask that you please watch the video below before beginning your project.
Please pardon the background in the video, I put this together at one of the houses we are working on so it's a mess behind me as I have no place to put anything.
A few things to know about my wine glass from the video:
I used way more resin than I normally use so the resin on my glass was very thick. On average I typically only use 2-3 ounces total for wine glasses. The resin is so thick though that it really takes some time to get the measurements right. Do not Rush.
Let your cup turn at least 5 hours. You want that resin hard, not tacky. There is no specific science to the times on things completely hardening. Temp, pigment, and mix ratios can greatly affect your cure times. So just be patient. I let mine turn a full 12 hours then came back to it.
